Insurance and Fuel Policy

This policy explains optional insurance coverage, excess or deductible, damage handling, fuel level rules, and refueling charges for rentals arranged through zestlom.com.

Optional Insurance Coverage

Basic insurance is included with every rental. You may purchase optional coverage to reduce your financial liability. Optional coverage is subject to availability and must be selected before the rental begins.

Excess or Deductible

The standard excess (deductible) is the amount you are responsible for in case of damage or theft. The exact amount is shown in your rental agreement. Optional coverage may reduce or eliminate this excess, depending on the product chosen.

Damage Handling

You must report any damage immediately. A damage report will be completed, and the repair cost will be assessed. You are liable for the excess amount unless optional coverage applies. We will provide a copy of the assessment and invoice for repairs.

Fuel Level Rules and Refueling Charges

Vehicles are provided with a full tank unless otherwise stated. You must return the vehicle with the same fuel level. If not, a refueling charge will apply, which includes the cost of fuel plus a service fee. The rate is disclosed at the time of rental.

Legal Compliance

In accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Electronic Commerce" No. 675-VIII of 03.09.2015, Article 7, we identify ourselves before you place an order. The Law of Ukraine "On Protection of Consumer Rights" No. 3153-IX of 10.06.2023 requires us to provide pre-contractual information, including business identity, service characteristics, price, delivery, and dispute resolution. You may file complaints with the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection or apply to court. Processing personal data, including cookie-based tracking, requires a lawful basis, typically consent, under the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" No. 4196-IX of 25.04.2025. Non-essential cookies and similar trackers require prior informed consent; a cookie banner and privacy policy are mandatory. Advertising is truthful, identifiable, and does not mislead, per the Law of Ukraine "On Advertising" No. 270/96-VR of 03.07.1996.
